Tamko Laminated Asphalt Shingles Lawsuit

Some have claimed that Tamko Laminated Asphalt Shingles may not be as high-quality as the manufacturer has claimed. Consumers who have installed the Tamko Laminated Asphalt Shingles, primarily in the Heritage Series, have complained of defects. These reported Tamko shingles problems include, but are not limited to, premature cracking, curling, and delamination, which means the products aren’t providing the promised roofing protection.
Tamko Heritage Series Laminated Asphalt Shingles are a 30-year limited warranty roof covering made with weathering-grade asphalt. Heritage Series Laminated Asphalt Shingles are supposed to provide years of roof protection, with features including weather resistant construction, double-layer fiberglass matting, and self-sealing asphalt strips for wind resistance.
While Tamko Building Products, Inc. markets its shingles as providing excellent roofing protection and sells the shingles with a lengthy limited warranty, consumers have alleged that these Tamko shingle defects have manifested long before the expiration of the warranty. Tamko Laminated Asphalt Shingles are not currently being recalled. However, that doesn’t mean that consumers cannot receive compensation for their loss of enjoyment and the costs of repair and replacement. If you have purchased defective Tamko shingle products, you may be able to recover those costs through a lawsuit.
