Thousands of BayMark Patients Face Uncertainty After Data Leak

BayMark Health Services, a healthcare company based out of Lewisville, TX, announced on May 2nd, 2025, that hackers exposed sensitive info belonging to 16,548 patients.
What happened?
Between September 24 and October 14, 2024, a data breach occurred at BayMark. On March 20th, 2025, the leak became known to the company. BayMark finally made the invasion known to their customers on May 2nd, 2025. This breach affects the privacy of 16,548 people.
What information was exposed?
BayMark confirmed that names, plus one or more of the following, were compromised:
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Driver’s license or other identification number
- Medical information
