Gardasil Vaccine Linked to Ovarian Failure, Death

Medical lawsuit consultation

A vaccine intended to help prevent the spread of HPV and the risk of cervical cancer has been alleged to actually cause the very health issues it swore to protect against. The Gardasil vaccine, developed by Merck & Co., has been linked to a myriad of injuries, side effects, and—in worst cases—even death.

Merck & Co. obtained approval for Gardasil in 2006 with deceptive research trials that overstated the benefits and understated the risks of the vaccine. Once approved, Merck’s aggressive marketing urged millions of parents to vaccinate their adolescent boys and girls with Gardasil.

Now, thousands of those who received the Gardasil vaccine are experiencing severe adverse health issues, and hundreds have even died due to vaccine complications.

The complete list of reported injuries due to Gardasil includes:

  • Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis
  • Arthritis
  • Autoimmune disorders
  • Cervical cancer
  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
  • Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP)
  • Chronic Pain Syndrome
  • Coma
  • Death
  • Dysautonomia
  • Epilepsy
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Guillain-Barré Syndrome
  • Heart problems, including severe arrhythmia and heart attacks
  • Inflammatory disorders
  • Interconnective Tissue Disorder
  • Lupus
  • Movement Disorders
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Neurological Disorders
  • Paralysis
  • Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)
  • Pulmonary Embolism
  • Reproductive Disorders, including premature ovarian failure
  • Rheumatological Disorders
  • Small Fiber Neuropathy
  • Stroke

Many women who developed an autoimmune disease or other serious health conditions, such as postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (“POTS”) or premature/primary ovarian failure, have come forward with liability lawsuits against Merck & Co. for fraudulently concealing evidence regarding the health risks of Gardasil while falsely promoting it as a vaccine that can prevent cervical cancer.
