Morgan & Morgan congratulates our Orlando, Nashville and Atlanta offices for being included in U.S. News and World Report’s 2017 edition of “Best Law Firms.” The Orlando and Nashville offices were also distinguished in the 2016 edition, and we are proud that the ranking continues to reflect our dedication to protect the people, not the powerful. Our Nashville office(/office-locations/tennessee/nashville/) received top tier metropolitan rankings in not one, but two practice areas: Personal Injury Litigation and Product Liability Litigation – Plaintiffs. Our Orlando office also earned a top tier metropolitan ranking in the practice area of Personal Injury Litigations – Plaintiffs. Atlanta received a metropolitan tier 3 ranking in Workers’ Compensation – Employers.
The criteria for receiving a ranking are rigorous and extensive. Reviews are key. Our firm has served more than 75,000 clients across nine states, and we greatly value their feedback. Reviews from thousands of these clients as well as our peers contributed to our ranking.
In order for a firm to be eligible for consideration, at least one of the firm’s attorneys must be listed in the current edition of U.S. News’ “Best Lawyers.” This is a great honor in itself—“Best Lawyers” recognizes the top 4 percent of practicing lawyers in America. These attorneys are peer reviewed and can’t nominate themselves. We’re proud to say that nine of our attorneys are on this year’s list. Kathryn Barnett is one of them. She is the managing partner of our Nashville office, and was designated “Lawyer of the Year” for Plaintiffs Product Liability in her hometown for the fourth time.
