Our office here in Orlando is proud to have organized a bake sale to benefit Making Strides in the fight against breast cancer. On Friday, Oct. 21, the office took part in Pink Friday to sell delicious baked goods, all donated by Morgan & Morgan employees, to raise funds for breast cancer awareness and research.

The office was adorned in pink ribbons for the bake sale and our employees had a ton of fun enjoying sweet treats while taking part in a good cause. The families of employees were also touched by our office’s bake sale plan. Attorney Matthew Gunter’s mother donated a BabyCakes cupcake castle, which looked like something out of a fairy tale, for the Making Strides bake sale.

Since Making Strides has an Orlando Chapter, our office felt a special connection to this foundation, as we knew the donation would directly assist our community in the fight to end breast cancer.

Making Strides is the largest network of breast cancer awareness walk events in the country. Participants in these walks raise funds that help the American Cancer Society to perform innovative and lifesaving research. Those who walk with Making Strides also show love and support to each and every person impacted by breast cancer.

The bake sale isn’t the only thing our office has planned for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. On Saturday, Oct. 29, we will be participating in a Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk at Lake Eola to help work towards the dream of a world free of breast cancer. We hope to see you there.
