305 Cafecito’s annual 305 DAY® kicked off on March 5th, and the Morgan & Morgan events team joined the festivities and showed up in style.

Now in its 11th year, 305 DAY continues to thrive, evolving from what was once a small annual meet-up into a grand block party and a catalyst for supporting local businesses and giving back to our homeless community. As like-minded partners, Morgan & Morgan identifies with the event’s mission to foster unity, promote civic engagement, and honor the cultural tapestry that defines the 305.

Morgan & Morgan had three volunteers from our Plantation and Miami office in attendance to run our booth—consisting of a 10x10 space with a tent, tables, a spin-the-wheel game, and that sweet Morgan & Morgan swag that everyone loves. Attorney Tanner Lakey also stopped by our booth to join in on the fun.

This year, we were thrilled to have two influential personalities join us at our booth—Janelle Marie Rodriguez and Carlos Hernandez. Their presence added an extra layer of excitement and energy to the event.

Attendees who registered for our email list got their chance to spin the wheel and win prizes, and everyone who signed up was entered into a raffle for a Yeti cooler backpack (a $300 value), with the winner announced at the event's conclusion. In total, we collected approximately 200 sign-ups, further solidifying our presence and impact within the Miami community. Through events like the Annual 305 Day, we continue to strengthen our connections, foster meaningful relationships, and empower individuals to seek justice and advocate for their rights.

As Morgan & Morgan remains dedicated to serving as champions for the people, events like these remind us of the power of community, collaboration, and collective action. We look forward to future opportunities to engage, inspire, and make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
