Biography Overview

Toya L. Perkins is an Attorney at Morgan and Morgan’s Alpharetta office. Her practice focuses primarily on premises liability including negligent/inadequate security, slip & falls, and animal attacks.

Ms. Perkins is a graduate of Stony Brook University where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Biology and Chemistry. After graduating from Stony Brook, Ms. Perkins then went on to earn her JD at Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While in law school, she developed a passion for advocacy while obtaining a Certificate in Litigation, and now fights each day for those in need of zealous representation.

A unique and distinguished career has allowed Ms. Perkins to gain insight and expertise from both governmental entities and private corporations. Among other positions, Ms. Perkins has served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of Georgia, and later in her career has successfully represented numerous property owners and management companies in courts throughout the State of Georgia regarding property rights, premises liability, and monetary judgments.

Ms. Perkins was born on the island of Jamaica and raised in Long Island, New York. Aside from the practice of law, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
