Shane McGlashen

Biography Overview

Shane McGlashen is a trial attorney in Morgan & Morgan’s Miami office. Mr. McGlashen specializes in personal injury, focusing on automobile, motorcycle, rideshare, and trucking accidents. Originally born in Philadelphia, he was primarily raised in Florida and graduated law school in Miami-Dade County, which he now calls home.

Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, Mr. McGlashen litigated and conducted jury trials as both a prosecutor and public defender, arguing cases to juries from both a plaintiff’s and defendant’s perspective. After, Mr. McGlashen joined a prominent AM200 law firm representing large corporate defendants in civil lawsuits which presented unique insight into sophisticated corporate litigation strategies and tactics.

Mr. McGlashen graduated with honors from the University of Miami School of Law. There, he was a member of the Charles C. Papy, Jr., Moot Court Board, earning “best orator” awards in both the John T. Gaubatz Moot Court Competition and the ABA’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition. He was also a member of UM’s Federal Appellate Clinic where he drafted and filed appellate briefs in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit on behalf of indigent Florida citizens. Mr. McGlashen also clerked for a federal judge in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida as well as a prominent Miami based antitrust litigation firm.
