Meet Ryan Alan Carlson
Ryan Carlson is an attorney in Morgan & Morgan's Hudson office, where he advocates for his clients with the same dedication and discipline that have defined his career in law and public service.
Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Sociology of Law, Criminology, and Deviance from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis before going on to receive his Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.
He began his legal career as a judicial law clerk, advising judges on all facets of ongoing civil litigation, including docket management and the preparation of court orders. Ryan later joined a rural Minnesota law firm, where he served as city prosecutor while also representing clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters. Before joining Morgan & Morgan in 2023, he served as a judicial staff attorney in Florida's Fifth and Thirteenth Judicial Circuits.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Ryan proudly served in the United States Army as an Infantryman from 2006 to 2013, deploying twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The values forged during his military service—integrity, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to those he serves—continue to guide his work as an attorney today.
Outside the office, Ryan's greatest joys are found at home. He and his wife have been married for 19 years and are the proud parents of four children: twin three-year-old boys, Alex and Leo; their two-year-old daughter, Esme; and their newborn daughter, Adeline.
