Biography Overview

Matt spent most of his childhood in Tennessee and graduated from Rhodes College where he played baseball and graduated with a B.A. in history. He then earned a juris doctorate from Cumberland Law School in Birmingham, Alabama.

Matt has extensive experience in both criminal and civil law. Prior to joining Morgan and Morgan, he spent time as a prosecutor and in the insurance defense field. While working as an Assistant District Attorney, Matt helped create the Baldwin County Veteran’s Court, a non-adversarial alternative designed to help our veterans re-integrate into civilian life.

Matt and his wife, Dorothy, live in Daphne, Alabama.
