Jeremy Anthony Farishon

Attorney

Jeremy Farishon was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Jeremy received his undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Arts in History and minor in Psychology) from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri and earned his Juris Doctorate from St. Louis University School of Law. Jeremy has dedicated his legal career to using the skills he possesses to help improve the lives of his clients, whatever form that improvement may take. This was evidenced in the very beginning by Jeremy choosing to live and work in rural Missouri for the Missouri State Public Defenders Office. After spending over three years trying cases and practicing in rural Missouri, Jeremy transferred back home to the St. Louis City Trial Office of the Public Defenders, where in approximately three years he tried over 25 cases to jury verdict while simultaneously acting as the Public Defender representative to Treatment Court, effectively representing all Public Defender clients throughout their time in Treatment Court. Following stints as an Administrative Hearing Officer and In-House Counsel, as well as running his own solo firm where he tried a Murder 1st Degree case in the City of St. Louis in 2019. Now, Jeremy has found his home at Morgan & Morgan where he is able to continue his mission of helping others. Jeremy has been featured in both small-town newspapers (Farmington Daily Journal, Steeleville Record) as well as more nationally focused publications (St. Louis Post-Dispatch, USA Today) for his trial work as well as his work with Treatment Court. Jeremy has had three jury trial verdicts overturned by the Missouri Supreme Court thanks to advanced preparation and knowing how to use an Offer of Proof to set up an successful appeal for the client. Jeremy lives in St. Louis City with his wife Kelly Howard and dog Zada. They can be seen walking Zada at all times of the day (and night) in the Lafayette Square neighborhood of St. Louis. His younger brother and two of his first cousins are also now attorneys in the St. Louis Metropolitan area.
