Carlos Betancourt

Biography Overview

Carlos Betancourt was born in Camaguey, Cuba and emigrated to Miami at the age of 5. At a young age, Mr. Betancourt developed a passion for helping others and it was this pursuit that led him to become an attorney. Carlos earned his Bachelor's degree, with honors, from Florida International University. Carlos then went on to attend Florida International University, College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate while making the Dean's List honors in nearly every semester. Carlos began his legal career as a legal assistant at a Boutique personal injury law firm in Miami, where he honed his advocacy and research skills by watching, helping and shadowing some of Miami's best personal injury attorneys. Mr. Betancourt also has experience working in business litigation, employment disputes and insurance defense coverage. He uses his diverse background and experience to guide his clients through difficult times and towards maximum compensation after they are injured through the negligence of others.
