Abby Lewis

Biography  Overview

Abby has practiced law in New Mexico since 2007 working at different times for several state governmental entities including the New Mexico Public Education Department, the New Mexico Office of the State Engineer, the New Mexico legislature, and the New Mexico Attorney General’s Office. Through these, and other positions, she has gained expertise in the areas of public education law, government sunshine laws such as those governing public records requests, and administrative law. She also spent almost two years as a Field Representative for a U.S. Senator.

In addition, she is Co-owner and Co-founder of Albuquerque’s weekly independent newspaper; The Paper. When she is not working (which isn’t often) she enjoys puzzles and spending time with her dogs.
