Meet Kimberly Potter Richardson

Kimberly Potter Richardson has been practicing in the Tampa Bay area for 25 years after graduating sixth in her law school class from Stetson University College of Law in 2000. Immediately upon graduating law school, she clerked for a federal magistrate judge in the Middle District of Florida before going into private practice. She spent years as a civil defense attorney representing nursing home and assisted living facilities, among other healthcare facilities, in defending against negligence claims. Growing tired of representing those entities, Kimberly joined Morgan and Morgan to represent individuals and families injured by the negligence of those facilities.

Initially, she represented clients injured by slip-and-falls, trip-and-falls, and other general liability issues caused by the negligence of others but now pursues claims on behalf of the wrongfully injured for nursing home negligence and medical malpractice. Kimberly has extensive experience in civil litigation and enjoys representing the injured against big corporate entities.  She is licensed to practice law in both Florida and Colorado.

In her spare time, she writes legal articles (having published more than a dozen) and treasures her time with her family and four chihuahuas.
