Biography Overview
James Armstrong, Esq. was born in Indiana and moved to Florida as a young child. After graduation from Stanton College Preparatory High School, he earned a bachelor's in business management and a bachelor's in economics from the University of North Florida (UNF). James continued his studies by attending Florida Coastal School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 2004. James joined the Public Defender’s Office in Jacksonville, FL after law school as a criminal defense attorney, representing clients within Duval County, Florida. As a member of that office James gained valuable trial experience being lead trial attorney in more than 50 cases.
James is a member of the Florida Bar Association and admitted to the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida. During his free time James enjoys traveling with his wife and their family.
