Harold Velez was born in Boston, MA, grew up in Queens, NY, and has lived in Florida since the age of thirteen. After graduating from South Fort Myers High School, Mr. Velez attended Stetson University in Deland, FL where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts, majoring in Political Science with minors in Business Law and English Creative Writing. After graduating from Stetson, Mr. Velez was given the Legal Promise Scholarship to attend Stetson University College of Law.
While in law school, Mr. Velez competed and was accepted into Stetson University’s prestigious trial team, competing across the nation, most notably in Florida, Houston, and Los Angeles. Prior to graduating law school, Mr. Velez was recognized by the International Academy of Trial Lawyers for distinguished achievement in the art and science of trial advocacy.
Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, Mr. Velez worked at a large personal injury firm, where within his two years of practice he had already tried at least six cases.
