Biography Overview
Christopher Cater was born and raised in Clinton, Mississippi. He attended Howard University where he was a team leader for the business school’s 21st CAP program and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Christopher knew from an early age that he wanted to be a trial attorney, so he attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Law to develop his legal skills. After graduating from law school, Christopher worked as a prosecutor both state and federal courts, prosecuting various violent crimes and over 30 jury trials to verdict over the course of 7 years. After leaving criminal prosecution behind, Christopher was recruited by an insurance defense firm to defend their clients from personal injury claims. Christopher gained invaluable experience and knowledge defending cases for insurance companies before he decided to use his skills to fight for the people as a plaintiff’s attorney. While Christopher is barred in Wisconsin, Mississippi, and Georgia, he focuses his practice on personal injury litigation in Georgia.
