
Biography Overview
Beth Brashears was raised in Richmond, Kentucky. As a first-generation college student, she attended the University of Kentucky on a full academic scholarship and earned her B.A. in Integrated Strategic Communications, including a semester at the American Business School in Paris, France. Following college, Ms. Brashears worked for several years in marketing for two universities, then was the Director of Marketing for a group of radio stations, and regularly appeared on a radio morning show. She organized many charitable functions, including Battle of the Bands, Pup Crawls, and casino nights to benefit local organizations such as the Lexington Humane Society and the American Cancer Society.
After several years, Ms. Brashears moved to Gulfport, Florida to attend law school at Stetson University College of Law. She was a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant, as well as worked in the Higher Education Law and Policy Center throughout her time at Stetson.
After law school, Ms. Brashears joined a plaintiff law firm in Gulfport, Florida, where she successfully represented individuals who had experienced property loss and had their claims unreasonably rejected by insurance companies. Ms. Brashears then worked as Assistant General Counsel for an international medical supply company, where she was a project manager for major mergers, ensured compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulatory bodies, and managed relationships with insurance companies to provide quality healthcare products to customers around the world.
Ms. Brashears is proud to bring her well-rounded experience to fight for the rights of the individuals and families who have been injured by the negligence of others.
