Truck Crash Involving Tractor-Trailers Injures Two

A pickup truck collided with two tractor-trailers on Interstate 44 outside of Sullivan, Missouri last Wednesday, KMOV 4 reported. The driver of the truck and one of the semi drivers were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened just before 2 p.m. near route 185. A tractor-trailer carrying an oversized load was rear-ended by a pickup truck. The truck then lost control and drove through a cable median, crashing head-on into another semi truck, at which point one of the tractor-trailers caught fire. The highway was closed in both directions, with one westbound lane reopening about 90 minutes later.
