The following product recalls have been announced this week—make sure you’re in the know.

Ceiling Hoists With Straps

Delta Cycle Corp is recalling 25,140 ceiling hoists with straps, as the plastic buckles used on the straps can break. The devices were sold by REI, Amazon, Designbydelta.com and other retailers. The hoists are model number RS2300, but the number is only on the packaging.

2019 – 2024 Ram Pickup Trucks

Stellantis is recalling nearly 1.5 million Ram pickup trucks (2019 – 2024 model years) worldwide to fix a software problem that can disable the electronic stability control system. The trucks may have anti-lock brake software that could inadvertently shut down the stability control, which manages the throttle and brakes to avoid skidding.

Abbott FreeStyle Libre 3 Sensors

Abbott has recalled the FreeStyle Libre 3 sensor—a component of Abbott’s FreeStyle Libre 3 continuous glucose monitoring system (CGM)—due to incorrect readings. A small number of sensors in the US provide incorrect high glucose readings. The FDA has categorized the recall with a Class I tag.
