The following product recalls have been announced this week—make sure you’re in the know.

Insignia® Air Fryers

Best Buy has recalled all Insignia® Air Fryers and Air Fryer Ovens due to fire, burn, and laceration hazards. The air fryers can overheat, causing the handles to melt or break, and the air fryer ovens can also overheat, causing the glass on the door to shatter.

U.S. Boiler, New Yorker Boiler, Advantage, FORCE, and Archer brand gas-fired hot water residential boilers

The U.S. Boiler Company has issued a recall for their gas-fired hot water residential boilers due to a carbon monoxide poisoning hazard. The blocked vent switch (BVS) can fail to shut down the burners if the boilers are installed at altitudes above 5,400 feet and the vent system becomes blocked, which can cause the boiler to emit excessive amounts of carbon monoxide into the home.

Tracker Off-Road OX EV Vehicles

Textron Specialized Vehicles has recalled their Tracker Off-Road OX EV Light Utility Vehicles due to a fire hazard. Water can get into the lithium-ion battery pack of the vehicles, posing a fire hazard.

Starbucks™ Holiday Gift Sets

Holiday gift sets containing Starbucks coffee and mugs have been recalled after ten injury reports, including severe burns/blisters and one laceration. The ceramic mugs included in the sets contain a metallic coating that can overheat or break.

Fisher-Price Little People™ Mickey & Friends© Toys

Fisher-Price has recalled Little People Mickey and Friends toy sets due to concerns of choking hazards for young children. The toy sets were sold at stores such as Walmart, Kohls, HEB, Kroger and online at Amazon.com and Walmart.com.

Honeywell™ Fire Alarm Sounders and Strobes

Nearly 30,000 Honeywell fire alarms were recalled due to a malfunction, causing the fire system to fail to alert individuals of a fire. Users are being urged to contact the company to arrange for a free inspection and repair.
