Berkshire Blanket & Home Company Heated Throws and Blankets

Berkshire Blanket & Home Company is recalling its heated throws and blankets due to fire and thermal burn hazards. 

The throws and blankets are reported to overheat and are sold at Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) stores and online at berkshireblanket.com, amazon.com, target.com, macys.com, and qvc.com.

 

2015 Ford Fiesta, 2016 Ford Fusion, and 2016 Lincoln MKZ

Ford and Lincoln are recalling 45,173 vehicles for doors that can open while driving. The 2015 Ford Fiesta, 2016 Ford Fusion, and 2016 Lincoln MKZ have a component inside the door latches that may break. If this occurs, the “door may unlatch while driving, increasing the risk of injury or a crash,” according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

 

BMW 486 X3, X4 and X5 SUVs

BMW is recalling 486 X3, X4, and X5 SUVs from the 2014 model year that are equipped with airbags made by Takata Corp. of Japan. The driver's airbag inflators can blow apart in a crash, hurling metal shrapnel and possibly injuring or killing people in the vehicles.

 

Jeep Wrangler 4xe

Jeep has recalled Wrangler 4xe’s with a 17.3kWh battery due to a potential fire risk. An internally failed HV battery could lead to a vehicle fire with the ignition on or off.

 

2023–2024 Honda HR-V and Accord Vehicles

Honda has issued a recall of its Honda HR-V and Accord 2023-2024 models due to a missing rivet that could make the seatbelt pretensioner fail, potentially causing serious or fatal injury.
