While Big Law plans, Morgan & Morgan reveals it has been quietly building a proprietary in-house AI platform for years.

[Orlando, FL] – As big law firms announce they are just beginning to explore proprietary AI systems, Morgan & Morgan unveiled today that it has been running one for years.

America’s largest injury firm is sharing for the first time that its in-house AI platform, MX2, is running at scale with nearly 5,000 monthly active users. The firm has committed to investing close to $500 million in technology and AI in the next five years, with a minimum commitment of $1 billion over the next 10 years. These investments build on the $300 million that Morgan & Morgan has spent on technology and AI in the last five years.

Unlike AI tools licensed from outside vendors, MX2 was built from the ground up by Morgan & Morgan engineers, including alumni of Google, Amazon, and Microsoft, who work directly alongside the firm's nationally renowned trial lawyers. Beyond the platform, the firm is extending MX2 into how clients interact with the firm with new capabilities no other legal AI provider offers today.

The results speak for themselves. MX2 has supported the generation of hundreds of thousands of demand letters, fulfilled hundreds of thousands of medical record requests, and retrieved vast numbers of police reports through automated systems, while contributing to significant increases across key rate metrics like demands and discovery responses.
