Above-Ground Pools

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), in cooperation with Bestway (Hong Kong) International Ltd., Bestway (USA) Inc. of Chandler, Arizona, Intex Recreation Corp. of Long Beach, California, and Polygroup North America Inc. of El Paso, Texas, has recalled approximately 5 million above-ground pools that are 48 inches tall or higher and use compression straps for support. The compression strap that surrounds the outside of the pool legs may create a foothold, allowing a child access to the pool, leading to nine reported deaths of children.

 

2023–2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Grand Cherokee L SUVs

Chrysler has recalled over 120,000 of the 2023–2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Grand Cherokee L SUVs due to a risk of injury to seat occupants during a crash. The second-row seat head restraints may not lock in the upright position.

 

LIVACTI Retractable Safety Gates

LIVACTI has recalled its Retractable Safety Gates due to a risk of serious injury or death from an entrapment hazard. A child’s torso can fit through the opening between the gate and the floor.

 

Apollo City Model Year 2024 Electric Scooters

Apollo is recalling its Electric Scooters due to fall and injury hazards. The weld line on the electric scooter can crack.

 

FENGQS F7 Pro E-bikes

FENGQS has recalled its Electric Bikes due to fire and burn hazards and a risk of serious injury or death. The e-bikes’ lithium-ion battery can overheat and ignite.

 

Aiho Dressers

Aiho is recalling its dressers sold at Walmart.com due to a risk of serious injury or death from tip-over and entrapment. The recalled dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall.

 

Minecraft Light-Up Slap Ruler Bracelets

Innovative Designs has recalled its Minecraft Light-Up Slap Ruler Bracelets due to a risk of serious injury or death from a button cell battery ingestion hazard. The battery compartment of the recalled light-up ruler bracelets can be opened easily by children.

 

100% Natural Pure Gum Spirits of Turpentine Bottles

Creekwood Naturals is recalling its 100% Natural Pure Gum Spirits of Turpentine Bottles due to a risk of serious injury or death from child poisoning. The turpentine bottles violate the mandatory standard for child-resistant packaging.

 

LED Gloves

Minongad has recalled its LED Gloves due to a risk of serious injury or death from battery ingestion. The compartment that holds the batteries can be easily accessed and opened by children.

 

Georgia Pine Gum Spirits of Turpentine Bottles

Diamond G Forest Products is recalling its Georgia Pine Gum Spirits of Turpentine Bottles due to a risk of serious injury or death from child poisoning. The turpentine bottles violate the mandatory standard for child-resistant packaging.

 

Transpro Electric Scooters

Transpro US has recalled its Electric Scooters with unauthorized lithium-ion battery UL certification labels due to fire and burn hazards. The recalled scooters can overheat and ignite.

 

Rechargeable Electric Bug Zapper Racket, Fly Swatter, and Mosquito Swatter for Indoor and Outdoor 

iMirror Inc. has recalled its Electric Bug Zapper Racket, Fly Swatter, and Mosquito Swatter due to a shock hazard. The rechargeable battery in the swatter can catch fire when used for extended periods of time.

 

Pura 4 Smart Home Fragrance Diffusers

Pura Scents has recalled its detachable covers of Smart Home Fragrance Diffusers due to a magnet ingestion hazard. The magnets on the inside cover can detach.

 

Frigidaire-brand Minifridges, models EFMIS129, EFMIS137, EFMIS149 and EFMIS175

Curtis International is recalling its Frigidaire Minifridges due to fire and burn hazards. The minifridges’ internal electrical components can short circuit and ignite the surrounding plastic housing.

 

HydroTech 5/8-inch Expandable Burst-Proof Hoses

Winston Products has recalled its 5/8-Inch HydroTech Expandable Burst-Proof Hoses due to a risk of impact hazard and temporarily impaired hearing. The recalled hoses can burst.
