American Addiction Centers

American Addiction Centers suffered a data breach on May 12, 2026, when an unauthorized third party acquired certain information from the Salesforce system. The incident was discovered the following month, and it was confirmed that the breach compromised sensitive personal information, including:

  • Names
  • Contact information
  • Social Security numbers
  • Brief descriptions of health

Kovack Financial, LLC, 

Kovack Financial suffered a data breach between August 8, 2025, and August 27, 2025, when an unauthorized party gained access to files within the network. The breach was discovered around August 28, 2025, but Kovack did not determine that personal information had been accessed during the incident until July 16, 20226. The types of information exposed in this breach include:

  • Social Security numbers
  • Driver's licenses
  • Government ID numbers
  • Credit and debit account info
  • Financial account information
  • Financial account codes

Ernst & Young

Ernst & Young (EY) suffered a data breach involving a third-party service management platform between March 28, 2026, and April 12, 2026, when hackers gained access to the platform and downloaded documents belonging to EY clients. The breach was discovered on April 23, 2026, after EY identified anomalous activity on the platform. The types of information exposed in this breach include:

  • Names
  • Addresses
  • Social Security numbers
  • Account numbers
  • Credit and debit card numbers
  • Other information used to prepare tax filings
