LexisNexis Risk Solutions Hit by Hackers

LexisNexis Risk Solutions, based out of Alpharetta, GA, experienced a data breach through a third party, affecting the privacy of 364,333 individuals. 

 

What Happened?

On December 25th, 2024, LexisNexis was hacked. The company only discovered the leak on May 14th, 2025. On May 27th, the public was made aware of the breach.

The following information was leaked:

  • Full names
  • Social Security numbers
  • Contact information
  • Driver’s license numbers

This sort of data breach can severely hurt the safety of the individuals affected.
