An individual injured in the Monday, August 25, 2025 explosion in north St. Louis County has hired national law firm Morgan & Morgan to investigate.

On Monday, August 25, an explosion damaged more than 20 homes near Evan Aire Drive in Florissant, MO. The client who hired Morgan & Morgan was outdoors at the time near one of the houses that exploded and was injured by the blast. Morgan & Morgan is investigating the causes of the incident, including whether or not it was related to natural gas.

A statement follows from Morgan & Morgan founder John Morgan and attorney Matthew French:

“This explosion was not only shocking and terrifying, it was powerful enough to level multiple homes and injure several people. Our client continues to seek medical treatment in an attempt to recover from her injuries. We are already investigating how this could have happened, and we plan to hold all responsible parties accountable for their role in it.”
