The following data breaches have been announced this week—make sure you’re in the know.

Children’s Council of San Francisco 

Children’s Council of San Francisco reported that it suffered a data breach on or around August 3, 2025, when an unauthorized party accessed and copied the sensitive personal data  of 12,655 victims from its network. The compromised information may include:

  • Full names
  • Social Security numbers

Tieu Dental Corporation

Tieu Dental recently suffered a data breach between July 28 and July 29, 2025, when an unknown party accessed and removed files containing sensitive patient data, though the company did not report the breach until March 5, 2026. The compromised sensitive information includes: 

  • Social Security numbers
  • Health insurance information
  • Dates of birth
  • Full names
  • Medical records
  • Prescriptions
  • Treatment plans

Williams Accountancy Corporation

Williams Accountancy Corporation suffered a data breach between December 25 and 26, 2025, when an unauthorized third party had infiltrated its computer network, compromising the sensitive, personal client data, which may include: 

  • Social Security numbers
  • Tax return information
  • Financial account details
  • Income records
  • Personally identifiable information (PII)
