The following data breaches have been announced this week—make sure you’re in the know.

Chipotle Mexican Grill

Chipotle Mexican Grill recently disclosed a cybersecurity breach between October 9 and October 26, 2025, when unauthorized actors gained access to sensitive employee information stored in Workday payroll accounts. The data breach exposed highly confidential data belonging to current and former employees, including:

  • Social Security numbers
  • Birth dates and driver’s license numbers
  • Bank account details and financial information
  • Government identification numbers
  • Employment and payroll records

 

Apro

Apro reported that it suffered a data breach between May 23, 2025, to May 24, 2025, when an unauthorized party accessed and copied sensitive, confidential information from its network, including:

  • Full names
  • Social Security numbers

 

Sax LLP

Sax LLP reported that it suffered a data breach on or around August 7, 2024, when an unauthorized party accessed and copied sensitive, confidential data of 228,876 victims from its network, including:

  • Full names
  • Social Security numbers
  • Birth dates
  • Driver’s license numbers

 

Steve J. Pearlman

Steve J. Pearlman reported that it suffered a data breach. when an unauthorized party accessed and copied the sensitive information of at least 11,764 victims from its network, which may include:

  • Full names
  • Medical information
  • Health insurance information

 

Aultman Health System

Aultman Health System suffered a data breach on January 22, 2025, when hackers gained access to confidential patient data stored on legacy servers managed by a third-party electronic health records vendor, Cerner Corporation. Hackers may have obtained any of the following information, including:

  • Full names
  • Social Security numbers
  • Dates of birth
  • Medical record numbers
  • Treating physicians
  • Diagnoses
  • Prescribed medications
  • Lab and test results
  • Diagnostic images (X-rays, MRIs, etc.)
  • Care plans and treatment details
