Biography Overview
Kristian M. Cross is a Columbia, South Carolina native. She graduated cum laude with departmental honors from Clemson University in 2004. She earned her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2007.
Ms. Cross practices in the area of worker's compensation. She joins Morgan & Morgan following nearly 15 years of practice as an insurance defense attorney. While defending corporations and insurance companies, she gained valuable insight and experience, which she now uses to fight for her clients who have been injured. Having represented both claimants and defendants, Ms. Cross is equipped with the knowledge and unique skill set to properly handle all aspects of your worker's compensation case.
Ms. Cross serves the community through her membership in a South Carolina chapter of The Links, Incorporated, which is a not-for-profit service oriented organization of women linked in service and friendship to promote and engage in educational, civic and intercultural activities in order to enrich the lives of members and the larger community. She currently serves as Vice-Chair of the South Carolina Bar's Worker's Compensation Section. She has also served the South Carolina Bar and the State for four years as a member of the South Carolina Judicial Merit Selection Commission, which is the panel responsible for evaluating the qualifications and fitness of candidates for all judicial positions on the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Circuit Court, and other state courts that are filled by election of the South Carolina General Assembly.
In her spare time, Ms. Cross enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her dog Ladybelle, traveling, dancing and cheering on the Clemson Tigers.
