Meet Iman Sorat
Iman Sorat is a skilled attorney at Morgan & Morgan, where he focuses on personal injury and complex civil litigation. His legal career began with a strong foundation in bankruptcy law, where he developed a sharp understanding of financial systems and client protections. He went on to work in high-stakes product liability litigation, representing clients in cases against some of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers. This combination of financial and trial experience gives Iman a unique perspective when it comes to protecting his clients’ rights and pursuing full compensation.
While earning his law degree, Iman contributed to a nationally recognized First Amendment and copyright fair-use case that examined the use of copyrighted music in political advertising. This early experience helped him build a foundation in complex legal issues and sharpen his research and advocacy skills. He also trained in the Gerry Spence Method, one of the country’s most respected programs for courtroom advocacy, further refining his ability to present compelling cases before judges and juries.
Iman has been honored as a California Super Lawyers Rising Star and was named to the Pro Bono Volunteer Honor Roll by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. These recognitions reflect both his legal talent and his dedication to service. Today, he brings that same level of passion and precision to his work for Morgan & Morgan, where he continues to advocate tirelessly for those harmed by the negligence or wrongdoing of others.
