Meet Brian Rodgers

Before becoming a trial lawyer, Brian Rodgers built homes with his hands. A skilled carpenter and construction superintendent, Brian spent years leading crews on job sites across the country. He knows what it means to work hard, take pride in your craft, and stand up when things go wrong. That same blue-collar grit defines the way he practices law today: aggressively, strategically, and relentlessly for his clients.

A native of Daytona Beach, Brian eventually traded his toolbelt for textbooks and earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science with Honors in the Major from the University of Central Florida in 2008, where he was named the Bledsoe-Young Award recipient for most outstanding senior in the department. He went on to earn his law degree with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he served as an editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy and gained hands-on experience in both civil and criminal law.
Brian began his legal career as a prosecutor in Gainesville, rising quickly through the ranks of the State Attorney’s Office. He tried over 100 jury trials to verdict, specializing in serious felony cases in the Special Victims Unit, including homicide, sexual violence, child abuse, and exploitation cases. He ultimately served as the Division Chief of SVU, supervising a team of elite attorneys and managing some of the most difficult and high-stakes cases in the circuit. With a foundation rooted in courtroom warfare, Brian shifted his focus to civil litigation—where he now channels that same tenacity into fighting for people injured by the negligence of others. He brings the full force of his trial experience to every personal injury case, treating each client like family and each case like it’s going to trial from day one. His mission is simple: hold powerful interests accountable and never back down until justice is served.

Outside the courtroom, Brian lives in Gainesville with his wife, a fellow trial lawyer, and their daughter. He is also a proud bonus dad to two incredible daughters who are both educators. He’s a devoted family man, a die-hard Florida Gators and Jacksonville Jaguars fan, and someone who believes in standing up for people when they need it most.
