Meet Yemil Aragon
Yemil Aragon began his academic journey at Florida International University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Photography in 2009. His passion for advocacy took root during his subsequent years at Florida International University’s College of Law, where he was instrumental in founding and leading the Environmental Law Society. After graduating in 2013, he transitioned into the legal profession, focusing on championing causes close to his heart and carrying the same dedication from his student days into his career as a Florida-licensed attorney.
With over a decade of experience litigating civil matters, Yemil has developed a versatile legal background. His early career included extensive work in first-party property insurance, personal injury protection, and foreclosure defense. He also gained unique expertise in handling Defense Base Act claims, representing both American and international claimants. This broad experience navigating complex legal landscapes in state and federal courts in Florida provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the litigation process, from initial filings through successful mediations and settlement negotiations.
Today, Yemil dedicates his entire practice to helping clients navigate the challenges of personal injury claims. He is known for providing clear and effective advocacy to a diverse range of individuals, ensuring they feel supported throughout every stage of their case. As a bilingual attorney, Yemil is also proud to offer his services in Spanish, ensuring that his clients can communicate comfortably and confidently in their native language while seeking the justice they deserve.
Outside of the courtroom, Yemil is a man of many long-standing passions. He has been an avid computer programmer for over twenty years and remains a dedicated photographer, a hobby he has enjoyed since his college days. Most importantly, he cherishes time with his partner of twenty years and wife of fourteen years, Mary, and their two lovely children, Ansel and Amelia. Whether he is capturing life through a lens or spending time with his family, Yemil brings the same balance of technical skill and personal warmth to his home life as he does to his legal practice.
