Meet Timothy Twomey

Timothy M. Twomey is an accomplished civil litigation attorney with over 35 years of legal experience spanning Alaska and California. Known for his strategic problem-solving, tenacious client advocacy, and consistent success in high-stakes personal injury and civil matters, Mr. Twomey brings a deep well of trial experience and legal insight to every case.

Mr. Twomey currently practices in Alaska, where he has successfully litigated and resolved hundreds of plaintiff-side personal injury cases, recovering substantial compensation for clients injured by negligence. He previously served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Alaska, where he handled statewide Medicaid lien recovery and subrogation claims, advised on environmental law and administrative rulemaking, and provided litigation and policy counsel to key government agencies.  His practice experience reflects a unique dual perspective—having advocated for both plaintiffs and government entities, he brings a nuanced understanding of litigation from all sides of the courtroom.

His educational background includes a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he received the American Jurisprudence Award in Criminal Law. He also holds a Diploma in International and Comparative Law from the University of San Diego Institute at Oxford, England, and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Washington, with substantial coursework in Anthropology and participation as a member of the Husky Crew Team.
