Meet Ramon O. Crego
Ramon O. Crego is an attorney at the Miami office of Morgan & Morgan. Focusing his practice exclusively on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, he provides advice and counsel to clients throughout Florida. Admitted to practice before all Florida state courts since 2011, Mr. Crego is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and Texas. Mr. Crego is Board Certified in Civil Trial and has taken over thirty Civil Trial cases to verdict.
The clients that Mr. Crego represents are people who have been harmed both economically and non-economically as a result of the negligence or recklessness of other parties. His cases in this regard have included truck, motorcycle, and other motor vehicle crashes; slip-and-fall accidents; and other types of premises liability. During his career, Mr. Crego has been able to procure sizeable compensation for his plaintiff clients, both through jury verdicts and through settlements with defendants and their insurance carriers. Mr. Crego has recovered over $55,000,000.00 for his clients, including multiple multi-million dollar jury verdicts.
Prior to becoming a Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney in July 2016, he spent several years as an attorney with the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office. As a prosecutor, Mr. Crego was the lead attorney on over forty jury trials.
Born and raised in Miami and fluent in Spanish as well as in English, Mr. Crego attended Florida International University as an undergraduate. His legal education was obtained at St. Thomas University School of Law, and he participated in regional and national Mock Trial competitions before being awarded his Juris Doctor in 2011. Mr. Crego’s professional affiliations include the Miami Dade Trial Lawyers Association, Dade County Bar Association, Cuban American Bar Association, and Belen Alumni Lawyers Section.
