Meet Lakshmi Odedra

Lakshmi Odedra earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Chapman University in 2013, with minors in Communication Studies and Women’s Studies, and went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law in 2017. From the beginning of her career, she was drawn to personal injury advocacy, building a strong foundation in legal writing, discovery, and trial preparation, and quickly developing a reputation for being thorough, strategic, and client-focused.

Over the years, Lakshmi has handled high-stakes injury litigation across a wide range of matters and has taken multiple jury trials to verdict. Her results for clients include significant settlements and verdicts, such as a $31,750,000 settlement in a big rig wheel off case involving traumatic brain injury, a $15,000,000 settlement in a products liability fire case, and multiple other seven-figure recoveries in premises and auto-related matters.

She is also an active leader and educator in the trial lawyer community, speaking on litigation and trial skills topics and serving in leadership roles focused on strengthening the plaintiff bar and expanding opportunities within the profession. Lakshmi is now an attorney at Morgan and Morgan’s Irvine office, where she focuses on premises liability, personal injury, slip and fall cases, brain injuries, wrongful death, dog bite and animal attacks, and burn and fire injuries. She approaches every case with meticulous preparation, a commitment to accountability, and a clear goal of helping clients move forward with confidence. Outside the courtroom, she remains dedicated to professional growth and service, bringing the same energy and care to the community involvement that she brings to the people she represents.
