
Biography Overview
Jared Ecker has always been driven by a deep sense of justice, knowing from a young age that he was destined to be a trial lawyer. Originally from Hamilton, Canada, Jared completed his undergraduate studies in Toronto before earning his law degree in Illinois. Now practicing in Orlando, he is dedicated to advocating for everyday people who have been wronged, ensuring his clients feel heard, understood, and powerfully represented.
Jared’s dedication to the law is rooted in his passion for helping others, a commitment that was recognized when he was named a Justice John Paul Stevens Fellow in law school for his devotion to public interest. His drive to serve others was further exemplified through his internship at the Orange County Public Defender’s Office during his first summer of law school, where he worked tirelessly on behalf of those in need, and later as a Summer Associate in the Morgan Associate Program, gaining invaluable experience in high-stakes litigation.
A dedicated and meticulous advocate, Jared focuses primarily on premises liability, handling cases involving negligent security, slip and fall accidents, trip hazards, defective conditions, and other dangers leading to serious injuries. His strategic and aggressive approach ensures clients receive the justice and compensation they deserve. Clients appreciate his integrity, honesty, and unwavering commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes.
Outside the courtroom, Jared enjoys playing sports, working out, reading history, and cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals, USC Trojans, and UConn Huskies. He also loves traveling, swimming, and exploring Florida’s beautiful trails and beaches.
