Gabe Mendoza is a personal injury attorney practicing out of Morgan & Morgan’s Jacksonville office. Originally from San Diego, California, Gabe graduated from Texas State University in 2007 and Fordham University School of Law in 2011. He spent the first fourteen years of his legal career as a decorated New York City prosecutor, where he investigated and prosecuted crimes involving violent gangs and criminal enterprises. Gabe dedicated much of his time to successfully dismantling large-scale gang organizations based in Queens County. He later transitioned to the role of Assistant Deputy Chief of the Hate Crimes Bureau, where he supervised the prosecution of crimes targeting individuals because of their race, religion, national origin, gender, or sexual orientation. Further, as Deputy Director of Litigation Training, Gabe trained new as well as experienced Assistant District Attorneys in legal concepts and trial strategy. 

Gabe is not only a passionate attorney committed to pursuing justice for whomever he represents but also a passionate teacher and mentor to young attorneys, specifically in trial advocacy. Gabe has taught hundreds of students in his role as a Professor of Law at both Fordham University School of Law and St. John’s University School of Law. Additionally, Gabe has successfully coached dozens of trial advocacy teams, many of whom successfully secured Championships and Advocacy Awards. Now a student of civil procedure and personal injury himself, Gabe dedicates his passion for justice, education, and advocacy to the practice of personal injury litigation at Morgan &  Morgan.
