Chanelle J. Ventura is an attorney in Morgan & Morgan’s Employee Rights Group. Her practice includes wage and hour litigation under the Fair Labor Standards Act, as well as discrimination and retaliation claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 42 U.S.C. §§ 1981 and 1983; medical leave claims under the Family and Medical Leave Act; disability discrimination and retaliation claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act; and age discrimination and retaliation claims under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA).
Ms. Ventura received her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude. While at Nova Law, Ms. Ventura served as Assistant Lead Articles Editor for the Nova Law Review, Secretary of the Student Bar Association, and was a Governor for the Florida Bar Young Lawyer Division Law Student Division. Additionally, Ms. Ventura gained extensive experience in her current field of practice by working as a law clerk with Morgan & Morgan’s Employee Rights Group while she was in law school.
