Meet Caio Formenti

Caio Formenti has devoted his legal career to holding greedy corporations accountable when they hurt innocent people. Caio joined Morgan & Morgan in 2026, where he primarily focuses on litigation involving defective products.

Before joining Morgan & Morgan, Caio was a managing attorney for a Plaintiff's firm in Dallas, Texas, where he was lead counsel for various matters including multiple mass tort litigations, medical malpractice cases, and individual product liability cases nationwide. He tried multiple cases to verdict as trial counsel, including obtaining an $18.1 million verdict against a drunk driver. Prior to that, Caio worked for a prominent Dallas Plaintiff's attorney and focused primarily on advocating for people who were hurt by defective metal-on-metal hip implants.

Caio graduated magna cum laude from the SMU Dedman School of Law in 2018, where he was admitted to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, he was a member of the SMU Law Review as well as chief counsel for the SMU Civil Clinic. He graduated from Southern Methodist University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science.

Caio is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the U.S. District Court for New Mexico, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Caio is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Dallas Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, and Dallas Bar Association.

When not practicing law, Caio enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, playing golf and soccer, and enjoying the outdoors.
