Meet Shelby Patrick

Shelby Patrick is a personal injury attorney at Morgan & Morgan’s Nashville office, specializing in premises liability. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Shelby relocated to Nashville to join the many passionate personal injury attorneys at Morgan & Morgan. Shelby graduated from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys’ Law School with honors in 2014. While there, she served as the volunteer coordinator for the Public Action Law Society, organizing clinics and fundraisers with the aim of helping low-income Memphians with their legal issues. Shelby spent her time outside of the classroom as an intern to United States Chief Magistrate Judge Diane Vescovo, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Tennessee, and the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office. She was also a member of the University of Memphis Law Review, honing her skills in legal research, writing, and argument.

Shelby joined the Shelby County District Attorney’s office in 2017, where she spent five years in the domestic violence unit prosecuting cases ranging from domestic assault to murder. In 2022, Shelby decided to change paths and practice personal injury, gaining experience in litigating automobile accidents, premises liability claims, social security, and workers’ compensation claims. Shelby is experienced in litigation, having fought for the victims of violent crime as well as those injured due to the negligence of others. She is passionate about standing up for what is right and giving a voice to those in need. Shelby joined Morgan & Morgan in 2025 with the goal of bringing that same passion to fight for our clients and to ensure they are heard and fully compensated.
