Meet Laureen J. Vitale

Laureen Vitale began her journey toward a legal career with a strong academic foundation. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, graduating Cum Laude from Albertus Magnus College in 1986, where she also minored in International Relations. Inspired by a passion for justice and advocacy, she went on to attend Vermont Law School, earning her Juris Doctor in 1989. Laureen was admitted to practice law in both Connecticut and Vermont, including in the U.S. District Courts for those states, marking the start of what would become a distinguished career spanning more than three decades.

Her career started as a trial attorney focusing on insurance defense litigation, where she spent ten years representing clients in severe injury cases in both state and federal courts. This early experience allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the complexities of injury law, the nuances of trial work, and the importance of thorough case preparation. Her time in defense litigation honed her ability to navigate challenging legal and procedural landscapes while achieving strong outcomes for her clients.

After a decade of defending cases, Laureen transitioned to representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters, where she found her true calling advocating for those who had been wrongfully injured. Over the years, she has handled a broad range of cases from inception through resolution, including alternative dispute resolution, settlements, and trials in both state and federal courts. With over 30 years of courtroom experience, Laureen has built a reputation for her skill, dedication, and compassion in helping clients secure the justice and compensation they deserve.
