Meet Virginia Gambacurta
Virginia Gambacurta received her undergraduate degree in marketing and business administration from Troy University, graduating magna cum laude in 2000. She earned her Juris Doctor, with honors, from Cumberland School of Law three years later.
Before joining Morgan & Morgan, she practiced primarily on the defense side, representing local, regional, and national manufacturers, distributors, retailers, restaurants, and hospitality industry clients in premises liability, product liability, transportation, and general liability litigation. Virginia’s extensive defense experience gives her valuable insight into how opposing counsel evaluates, develops, and defends claims. She now uses that perspective to anticipate defense strategies, strengthen case preparation, and advocate for her clients with a uniquely informed approach.
Virginia is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Alabama, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States. She is also a member of the Birmingham Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar.
Virginia holds a prestigious AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the organization’s highest distinction, recognizing professional excellence and ethical standards. Her additional honors include being named a Rising Star by Mid-South Super Lawyers and, more recently, recognition by Best Lawyers in America.
