Biography Overview
Simon Kahng is a Litigation Associate in our New Jersey and New York offices focusing on personal injury cases. Simon was born in Busan, South Korea, and raised in Southern California. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, and his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law. At Seton Hall, he served as a member of the Interscholastic Moot Court Board and competed in multiple competitions throughout the United States.
Simon began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Trial Division at the Bronx District Attorney’s Office, where he litigated hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases to disposition, including securing numerous indictments for violent felonies.
Thereafter, Simon was an Associate Attorney at a New York City Defense Firm, where he defended clients in areas such as construction/labor law, premises liability, general liability, and sexual abuse.
Before his legal career, Simon worked at SK Energy, one of South Korea’s largest conglomerates, as a Markets Researcher trading aviation fuel (Jet A-1) to domestic and international airline companies.
Simon is committed to being a zealous advocate for and fiercely representing his clients to achieve only the best possible outcome.
In his spare time, Simon enjoys camping, snowboarding, going to Mets games, and spending time with his lovely wife.
