Biography Overview
Mario Makram is a passionate advocate and personal injury attorney whose life and career have been shaped by resilience, service, and a deep commitment to justice. The son of immigrants, Mario grew up navigating the challenges of adapting to a new culture while finding strength in being a voice for the underserved. From a young age, he recognized the power of advocacy and how a strong voice can change not only one life, but entire communities.
Mario earned his Associate’s degree while still in high school and quickly followed with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology from the University of South Florida. He then attended Stetson University College of Law, nationally recognized for its excellence in advocacy and trial training. While at Stetson, Mario won several awards, including an International Best Oralist award from The Hague, one of the most respected international arbitration courts in the world. Throughout college and law school, he balanced work, academics, and family responsibilities—all while maintaining a connection to his community through nonprofit work, homeless outreach, and youth mentorship programs.
After law school, Mario began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Pinellas County. There, he gained extensive courtroom experience, going to trial nearly every month and completing over 10 trials. His role sharpened his skills in case evaluation, trial preparation, witness management, and team leadership. Today, Mario brings all of that experience and heart to his role at Morgan & Morgan—fighting for those without a voice, seeking justice for the injured, and standing firmly on the side of those who need a strong advocate the most.
