Biography Overview

Lawrence “Larry” Gonzalez II was born and raised in Florida and received his bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Florida. After graduation, he attended the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law, where he graduated in the top of his class.

Mr. Gonzalez is an equity partner in the firm. He founded the Premises Liability Department for the firm’s Central Florida offices, and then led Florida’s Fire Litigation Practice, which specializes in wrongful death and injury cases caused by fire. Now, Mr. Gonzalez specializes in representing individuals and families in significant matters involving wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury and interstate and intrastate commercial trucking litigation.

Since joining Morgan & Morgan, Mr. Gonzalez has effectively and successfully represented individuals and families throughout the State of Florida, where he has achieved significant verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients for multi-millions of dollars. While some cases may be settled without the need for trial, he firmly believes in aggressively representing his clients and will pursue litigation whenever it is necessary. To date, he has litigated hundreds of cases against some of the largest corporations and insurance companies in the world. His primary goal is to make sure his clients receive the personal attention and justice they deserve.
