Meet Johna Goff

Johna Goff is a personal injury attorney with Morgan & Morgan who brings a diverse legal and professional background to her representation of injured clients. Having worked as both a prosecutor and a defense attorney and having owned and operated her own law practice, Johna understands litigation from multiple perspectives. That experience allows her to anticipate opposing arguments, evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of a case, and develop effective strategies to advocate for her clients.

Johna focuses her practice on personal injury and general liability matters, with significant experience handling motor vehicle accident cases. Before joining Morgan & Morgan, Johna served as a prosecutor and criminal defense attorney, experiences that strengthened her courtroom advocacy, negotiation, and litigation skills. She also operated her own law firm, giving her firsthand experience managing cases from beginning to end while developing meaningful relationships with the clients she represented.

Johna was born and raised in Indiana and earned her undergraduate degree from Ball State University in 2004, where she played college basketball. Following graduation, she served in the United States Marine Corps before returning to pursue her legal education. She earned her law degree in 2019.

Outside of practicing law, Johna has spent approximately 20 years coaching basketball at various levels, from college to recreational basketball. Her experiences as a player, coach, attorney, and Marine have instilled in her a strong work ethic, discipline, competitiveness, and commitment to teamwork. She particularly enjoys the opportunity coaching provides to mentor others and give back to the sport that has been such an important part of her life.

Most importantly, Johna understands that behind every personal injury case is a person and a family whose lives may have been unexpectedly disrupted. She takes the time to understand her clients’ circumstances and is committed to providing them with knowledgeable, compassionate, and determined representation throughout the legal process.
