Meet Eric A. Peterson
Eric Peterson began his academic path at Hendrix College, where he completed his undergraduate studies and graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in 2017. Deepening his love for learning, he returned to his home state to attend the University of Alabama, earning a Master of Arts in 2019. Driven by a strong desire to use his skills to help others, Eric then moved to the East Coast to pursue his legal education. He attended the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 2023 and establishing a comprehensive legal foundation that prepared him for a career centered on advocating for individuals in need.
After graduating from law school, Eric chose to remain in Baltimore for a few years to launch his professional career. During this formative period, he developed a unique and compassionate legal background by focusing his practice on tax sale foreclosure and bankruptcy law. Working daily within these fields, Eric became highly adept at interacting closely with people facing significant, unexpected life hardships. Safely navigating clients through these stressful financial times quickly became his primary professional passion, shaping his approach to the law and providing him with the ultimate motivation to show up and fight for people every single day.
Today, Eric has returned home to Alabama, bringing his empathetic background to the Morgan & Morgan team in the Birmingham office, where he serves as a dedicated personal injury attorney. He utilizes his unique perspective and strong legal training to stand up for individuals and families who have been wrongfully injured, ensuring they feel supported and heard throughout the entire legal process. Outside of the courtroom, Eric enjoys a vibrant and relaxed personal life. He loves watching his favorite TV shows, going on scenic hikes with his wife, and gathering around the table with his friends for a game of Dungeons & Dragons.
