Meet Emma D. Van Ginneken

Emma Van Ginneken hails from Ontario, Canada, where she developed an early passion for compassionate advocacy and standing up for the rights of others. She pursued her legal education at California Western School of Law, where she quickly distinguished herself through outstanding academic achievements and community leadership. Throughout law school, Emma was a consistent Dean’s Honor Roll student, an admissions and academic merit scholarship recipient, and the winner of the Academic Achievement Award in courses like Advanced Copyright and Trademark Law. Deeply committed to public service, she dedicated over two hundred hours to volunteer legal work, earning the Public Service Honors Award.

During her legal training, Emma actively sought out experiences that honed her litigation skills and courtroom insight. She served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Karen S. Crawford (ret.), presiding magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District, gaining invaluable behind-the-scenes insight into how judicial decisions are made. Passionate about trial work, she also handled catastrophic personal injury matters as a law clerk and coached the mock trial team at California Western School of Law, teaching law students how to effectively argue motions, conduct trials, and passionately represent their clients in court.

Today, Emma is a skilled advocate who focuses her practice on fighting for individuals facing catastrophic personal injuries and workplace discrimination. She brings proven trial strength to every case, notably helping obtain a staggering $10,025,171.00 jury verdict for a client involved in a severe motor vehicle collision. Known for her warm approach and fierce dedication in the courtroom, Emma works tirelessly to ensure injured clients receive full justice and support. In her free time, she enjoys staying active through beach volleyball, going to the gym, and exploring new foods at local farmers' markets.
