Angela Rodgers

Trial Attorney

Angela Rodgers was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. Her path to becoming a lawyer began at New College, the Honors College of the State University System of Florida, where Angela earned her bachelor’s degree. There, she studied psychology and the law, which included research about America’s trial system and the psychology of the jury deliberation process. Angela earned her juris doctorate from the University of Florida, the State’s premier law school, where she graduated with honors. Angela received many awards during her education including an International Leadership Award from Phi Theta Kappa.

Following law school, Angela had a strong desire to help people who had been hurt by others. She fulfilled this desire first by working at the State Attorney’s Office in Gainesville. As an Assistant State Attorney, Angela tried nearly 100 cases to verdicts before juries and primarily prosecuted cases involving child abuse, child exploitation, and domestic violence. After several years of public service, Angela decided to move into civil practice with her drive to continue helping people when they are at their most vulnerable. Before joining Morgan & Morgan, Angela worked for a firm that represented insurance companies and defendants in personal injury cases. Through this job, Angela learned how insurance companies analyze, handle, and defend these cases.

Angela is proud to be an attorney here at Morgan and Morgan, America’s largest and best personal injury law firm, a place where she can fully embrace her passion for helping people who have been hurt by the actions, inactions, carelessness, and recklessness of others. It is an unfortunate fact in our world that sometimes people get hurt, and sometimes that hurt is severe and permanent. But when the party who caused that hurt refuses to do the right thing by accepting responsibility or when the cold, calculating insurance company refuses to act in good faith and pay the fair value for a person’s injuries, pain, and suffering, that is when Angela uses her substantial litigation and trial experience along with resources of Morgan and Morgan to balance the scales and get justice for her clients.

Angela lives in Gainesville, Florida and represents clients across central and northern Florida. She resides with her youngest daughter and her husband, Brian, who is also a trial lawyer at Morgan and Morgan. When she is not fighting for her clients, Angela enjoys traveling with her family, reading everything she can get her hands on, and cheering on her beloved Florida Gators football team.
